Despite being more niche in the fandom, Most Beautiful DEATH (Kuromyu 2) is arguably the best piece of Black Butler media to come out. First thing to address is the writing for both the songs and the script. OH MY GOD. As someone who has made both english and french subtitles for Kuromyu 2 on a google drive, meaning i had to translate the WHOLE SCRIPT TWICE, there really is nothing like it. The writing is completely original, yet it captures the essence of a Black Butler story PERFECTLY. There is not one bad scene, ranging from the comedy of ´Sharp Jawline´, to the tragedy of Alan and Eric's story. It's a masterpiece. With every other Kuromyu I can find some sort of critique with its songs or script, but in that aspect Kuromyu 2 really does everything right. Even Viscount's song is catchy, but I'd have to say the highlights are Unmei (Alan and Eric's theme) and Shinigami Haken Kyoukai no Theme (The Dispatches theme). Both songs have completely different feelings to them which are done perfectly. Also, the costuming?? OH MY GYATT THEY ATE SO HARD. All of the outfits were so detailed and not to mention accurate, especially the reapers.
